About us

A.P.S.E – Ecological Soundscapes Archive is an Erasmus+ project (KA210-YOU) that combines art, science, and youth engagement to protect biodiversity through sound ecology.
The project is coordinated by Soundscapes of South Europe APS (Italy), in partnership with Edu-Europe (Greece) and Dideas Innovación Educativa (Spain).
A.P.S.E was created to build an open-source digital archive that collects the sounds of nature (geophonies, biophonies, and anthropophonies) and transforms them into an educational and artistic tool. By actively involving young people and youth workers in sound recording and creative activities, the project raises awareness about biodiversity and climate change, fostering resilience and environmental consciousness across Europe.
